Assured
Hospice of Clallam County Patients should be referred to hospice when the patient
no longer desires curative, aggressive therapies and elects to seek comfort
(palliative) care, or after all reasonable curative therapies have been
completed. The Medicare Hospice Benefit covers individuals with advanced
terminal disease and life expectancy of six months or less for whom pain
management, symptom control, comfort and supportive care are appropriate.
In addition, many private insurance carriers offer this coverage.
People who are referred for
hospice care may have terminal cancer, end stage heart, lung, kidney, HIV or
neurological disease.
Assured Hospice of Clallam County is licensed by the State of Washington.

At Home
Assured At Home offers
services like personal care, bathing services, dressing and grooming
assistance, housekeeping, or live-in help. At Home services are available to
help and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
